Afore In The Dark

You stumble upon a house whilst hiking in the woods; you're tired and hungry and could really use just a quick pit-stop. The owner's wouldn't mind you just getting out of the chilly night for a few minutes, would they? It looks vacant, but for the food in the cupboard. The house is deathly quiet, save for that small bump overhead. 

It's vacant, but not abandoned, and clearly something lurks within.
